Building on 2015’s success: Senta’s upcoming features

With 2016 under way and exciting developments in the pipeline at Senta, we'd like to take the opportunity to wish you a happy New Year and reveal what's in store for our clients over the next 12 months.

We had excellent feedback from our clients on their experiences of embracing Senta last year, and we'll be introducing a range of new features over the next few months to help you save time and deliver even better customer service.

In the run up to the UK's tax return deadline, you may be questioning the efficiency and performance of your accountancy practice. If you feel that you could benefit from a trusted practice management system to help run your practice, it could be time to try Senta.

Let's look back at some of Senta's key features that were released in 2015.

What we did in 2015

Keeping track of multiple spreadsheets, schedules and calendars can be laborious and time-consuming, and our first version of Senta practice manager was designed to alleviate this burden, especially for smaller practices.

We wanted to include the things that accountants told us they needed during our market research. Initial features of our cloud-based software included client relationship management (CRM), task and workflow scheduling, along with email and marketing.

And we didn't just stop there. We recently added a host of features to make tasks even easier, including integration with Gmail and Exchange email platforms, secure document management, simplifying client import, Companies House integration, practice-wide email approval, and a variety of workflow and task-related improvements.

Feature releases for 2016

If you're already using Senta in your practice, you'll know that there are no restrictions or limits to our software: you get every new feature we add, and you always will. Here's some of what you can expect from Senta this year.

Integration with FreeAgent and Xero – This year is all about integrating Senta with other products, including your existing accounting software. Our next releases will include FreeAgent and Xero integration to help you seamlessly manage your workflow in the cloud.

Document approvals – Waiting on approved and signed documents can cause major delays, and you'll soon be able to allow your clients to approve documents online without signing and sending.

Ad hoc tasks – Keeping tabs on all areas of your practice can be a challenge, and ad hoc tasks will mean that you can be reminded of anything you like – not just client work. You'll also be able to snooze notes so that you can follow them up when you say.

Saved searches – You'll soon be able to save searches and views for quick access to client data – all VAT clients, for example.

We'll be keeping you posted over the next few months as we release new features, and will be updating our feature roadmap regularly. We always welcome feedback, so if you have any comments, suggestions or questions about Senta, get in touch with us and we'll be happy to help.
